Jetpack

Jetpack is a plugin that connects your own WordPress website with the WordPress.com infrastructure, providing you with powerful WordPress.com features.

Jetpack Content. You are solely responsible for the content of any of your Web sites running Jetpack (“Jetpack Content”).

Features Jetpack includes various features, and you'll visit Jetpack.com to find out more about them. Some features, such as extended distribution, will activate your Jetpack Content in Firehose upon activation. By activating these features, you give us permission to display your Jetpack Content on WordPress.com in order to distribute and promote your site. Some features are enabled by default, while others must be enabled manually. You can see which functions are active, as well as activate and deactivate functions on your panel.

License. Using Jetpack, you give us access to your website’s servers for the purpose of backing up and protecting Jetpack content, as well as restoring files and database information (which may include access information for multiple servers or accounts for each website which we reserve). Jetpack may temporarily install additional software on your website to back up your website and scan for vulnerabilities. In order to eliminate security vulnerabilities, we can force update your website or gain access to your website to remove malicious code. We can also manually access your site to troubleshoot your support requests or in an emergency.

You agree that we may crawl your website and collect aggregated / anonymous statistics for our internal use in order to optimize the performance of Jetpack. By submitting Content to Automattic for inclusion on your website, you grant Automattic a worldwide, free and non-exclusive license to breed, modify, adapt and publish Content solely for the purpose of displaying, distribution and promotion. Your website. This license also allows Automattic to make any publicly available Content available to third parties selected by Automattic (for example, through Firehose) so that these third parties can analyze and distribute (but not publicly display) the Content through their services.

Data storage. Some features of Jetpack use WordPress.com servers, for example, those that allow you to send emails, post links, link messages to each other, or resize images. VaultPress

VaultPress Content. You also grant us a worldwide, free and non-exclusive license to copy and store your VaultPress content to the extent necessary for VaultPress to operate. These Terms do not give us any rights to your VaultPress Content other than those we require to work with VaultPress. You own VaultPress content.
Cancel If you cancel your VaultPress subscription, we will back up the VaultPress content for deletion.
