Fortunately, WordPress is a platform that gives you plenty of opportunities to protect yourself. Having helped to organize and manage many websites and blogs on my own, I would like to share with you some of the most important things you can do to help secure your WordPress site.

Secure your WordPress login page
Protecting your login page is not achieved by any specific technique, but there are certain steps, and the free security plugin you can take to make any attacks far more likely to succeed.
Your site is actually one of the most vulnerable on your site, so start making your WordPress site a little safer.
1. Choose a good administrator username
Use an unusual username. Previously with WordPress, you had to start with the default admin username but it wasn't so. However, most new site administrators use the default username and change their usernames. You can use the expanded Admin Renamer to change the name of your administrator.
Forcing pages is one of the most common forms of website attacks that your site is likely to face. If you find it easy to guess the password or the username of your site, it is certainly not just a target but a victim. From experience, most hacking attempts try to log in using three main choices of usernames. The first two are always 'admin' or 'administrator', while the third one is usually based on your domain name.
2. Be sure to use strong passwords
Until then, you might think that people can use complicated passwords to protect their accounts, but many still think that 'password' is a great number.

If you use one of those passwords and your site receives all the traffic, your site will almost certainly be removed sooner or later.
A strong password will include a combination of:
Upper and lower case letters
Alphanumeric characters (AZ and az)
Include a special character (!, @, #, $, Etc)
At least 8 characters in length
The more random your password, the more secure it is. Try this random password generator if you have trouble setting it up.
Use two-factor authentication (2-1)
2FA is a verification method that requires verification of your login. For example, when you are logged in with your username and password, the system may send a message to your phone or email you with a code that you need to enter to verify your identity.
This method of authentication offers excellent protection and is used by many banks and financial institutions today. Again, this requirement can be easily met with the 2FA plugin.
