We are not involved in these relationships, but we can facilitate transactions or communication. For example, we may receive notifications or forms related to your Stripe account on your behalf.

Learn about WooCommerce payments

Learn more about WooCommerce payments. WooCommerce payments are integrated with Stripe, a third party that provides payment processing and related features for your site. If you use WooCommerce Payments, you enter into an agreement with Stripe in accordance with the Stripe Agreement for a connected account, the Stripe Services Agreement and any other terms and policies included in these agreements by reference (collectively, the “Stripe Agreement”). The Stripe Agreement is separate from these Terms. We are not a party to the Stripe Agreement and are not responsible for the services provided by Stripe. If Stripe stops providing these services through WooCommerce Payments, you authorize Stripe to transfer information about your payment method to another alternative payment processor that is integrated or will be integrated into WooCommerce Payments.

You agree to abide by the Stripe Agreement. In particular, you may not use WooCommerce Payments to allow anyone (including you) to benefit from any activity that Stripe has designated as a limited activity or activity.

We may refuse, condition or suspend any transaction or account (including your use of WooCommerce Payments) if we believe that you have violated these Terms or if we believe that your actions or transactions expose you, us or others to unacceptable risks, such as determined to us at our discretion.

You authorize us to provide data related to WooCommerce payments with Stripe for use in accordance with the Stripe privacy policy. Please refer to our privacy policy for detailed information on how we collect, use, and disclose data provided to us as part of WooCommerce Payments.

Fees In some cases, you pay us fees related to the e-commerce services that you use. For example, for Regular payments you pay us a percentage (which depends on your plan) of the income that your site generates through Regular payments; You allow Stripe to send us this percentage. As another example, if you use WooCommerce payments, there are transaction fees and disputes. Please note that we are not required to refund or refund these revenue-based fees when you make a refund to your subscribers or customers.
Calculation of taxes. You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes related to your e-commerce activities and your use of e-commerce services. You must collect, report and/or pay the correct amounts to the appropriate authorities, if applicable, and, if necessary, inform your customers of any taxes that they may need to pay and invoice them accordingly. While some e-commerce services (such as TaxJar may provide tax calculations if you use the Store) allow you to include sales taxes or value-added taxes in transactions, you should not rely solely on these features.
Although our goal is to keep our documents and tools up to date, tax laws are changing rapidly and we cannot guarantee that the tax calculations you receive through or in reference to our Services are complete and accurate. Tax laws also vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction and can be interpreted differently by different authorities. We recommend that you simply consult a tax specialist for your specific tax situation when evaluating the right tax rates that you must charge.
If we are required to pay or collect taxes for your e-commerce activities or for your use of e-commerce services, you are responsible for such taxes, and we may charge you for such taxes.

Delivery services. Delivery labels are provided by EasyPost and allow you to use real-time delivery rates to purchase mail and print delivery labels at specific mail services such as the USPS and Canada Post. We only act as an intermediary between you and these third parties; we are in no way affiliated with your product or its shipment. We also do not guarantee that the results that you get from using these services (for example, prices and tags) will be accurate or reliable.

You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable rules and regulations, including domestic and international shipping and customs regulations, as well as the relevant postal services. For example, if you use USPS mail forwarding, you will need to comply with their shipping restrictions and postal standards, among other things.

In addition, you are solely responsible for paying customs duties, taxes, or import duties or any other fees associated with your deliveries. If any charges are charged against us as a result of your use of delivery services, you will refund us the full amount within 7 days.

You authorize us to charge fees for each shipping label you create. Each fee will be charged separately from the payment methods that you specified in your WordPress.com account, and you can view and manage them as described on the payment methods support page. If you have several payment methods, you can choose which one to use for the label delivery service. If we cannot get your fees for these fees, you will be responsible for the payment within 7 days; Please contact us to transfer payment.

A refund for unused delivery labels must be requested in your store’s wp-admin within 30 days from the date the label was created. Please note that depending on your bank and third party, a refund may take up to 45 days. If you have not received a refund during this time, please contact us.

You may not transfer or sell postage and/or shipping labels to third parties.

Your responsibilities. You may only use e-commerce services for legitimate transactions with your customers. You are solely responsible for all your e-commerce activities, including managing subscriptions for your website, managing your store, all applicable taxes and fees, compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), and compliance with any applicable laws (such like those related to automatic updates). Among other things, this means that:
We do not participate in your relations or transactions with any client or potential client.
You must use your best judgment. For example, you may not accept check payments if you are not comfortable sharing your mailing address with customers.

You must accurately report transactions, set expectations correctly, and fulfill all promises, representations, or warranties you have made. For example, if you want to provide your visitors or subscribers every week with a new message to be added to your site with regular payments, but you are not sure that you will have to make it clear that this is a goal, not a guarantee.
You are responsible for the nature and quality of the products or services you provide, as well as for the delivery, support, return, refund, and any other support services that you provide to your customers.

You are responsible for obtaining the appropriate consent to send payments through WooCommerce Payments on behalf of your customers, providing confirmation or receipts to customers for each of them, verifying the identity of customers, as well as determining the client’s rights and authority to complete transactions.
If you think the transaction is erroneous or suspicious, you should examine the transaction and, if necessary, contact your client before completing or completing the transaction.
If you make transactions with individuals (that is, with consumers), you, in particular, agree to provide consumers with the disclosure of information required by law and not to engage in unjust, fraudulent or abusive actions or actions (“UDAAP”).
You are financially liable for disputes (including chargebacks), refunds, cancellations, or fines resulting from your use of e-commerce services.
