The Last day on mars

Year - 2213. The earth was destroyed due to the fact that the sun turned into a supernova much earlier than anyone expected. People who remained in the solar system live on Mars, which will soon suffer the same fate as Earth. In order to survive, they plan to colonize a distant planet named Aaru-5. Thirteen-year-old Liam was born on Mars. All his life, his scientific parents worked for long hours, performing vital experiments for the transition from Mars to Aar-5. On the day the last Starliner spacecraft leaves for Aaru-5, almost all of the 100 million remaining Martian inhabitants are already on board. Liam and his best friend Phoebe remain on earth, waiting for their parents to finish work at their research center. Two teenagers expect to spend a day idle waiting for their departure.

Instead, they end up opening an invisible research lab, applying some seriously advanced 4-D alien technology, saving their parents from a fire explosion, flying in space with an artificially intelligent panda named JEFF, and racing to catch up with the last starship, so they can provide important information that can be the key to saving humanity. (Oh, and also because they won’t stay forever.) Despite the fact that from time to time this newcomer is complicated, he is full of action and interesting. With a focus on time and space travel, including well-designed and accurate scientific research, this novel will be easily sold to science fiction enthusiasts. VERDICT This fast-paced adventure story is recommended where science fiction is in demand (Liz Overberg, Zionsville High School,

Sutherland, author of the best-selling book Wings of Fire, New York Times)

“Emerson’s letters explode from the page in this irresistible space adventure filled with astounding plot twists, devilish aliens, and (my beloved!) Brave young heroes faced with an impossible task.” (Lisa McMann, author of the New York Times bestseller from the Unwanted series)

“The last day on Mars is excitingly ambitious and inventive, awakening a space opera for any age, carefully explored and relentlessly walking. A fantastic start to a new epic series. ” (Soman Chaynani, author of the best-selling book School of Good and Evil, New York Times)

"An extremely pleasant mixture of adventure, humor, science, and children trying to find their place when humanity itself does not have it." (Emma Trevane, author of The Random Afterlife of Thomas Marsden).
On the last day of the first manned mission to Mars, a crew member at the Tantalus base believes he made a startling discovery - fossilized evidence of bacterial life. Not wanting the rescue team to demand all the glory, he does not obey orders to collect things and goes on an unauthorized expedition to collect additional samples. But routine excavations turn into a catastrophe when the porous earth collapses, and it falls into a deep cleft and approaches death. His emptied colleagues are trying to restore his body. However, when the other disappears, they begin to suspect that the life-form they discovered has not yet died. When the group begins to fall apart, it seems that their only hope is the imminent arrival of the Aurora relief ship.
