CREATING YOUR SITE
The Wix experience is friendly and easy to understand from the start.
The “Start Now” button on the main page allows you to register and go to the first step in creating a new site.
Here you can choose the purpose of the site, and Wix uses this information to offer specially optimized designs in the next step.
At this point, Wix gives you access to its website builder, where you can customize everything about your site and ultimately publish it to the world.
Using the toolbar on the left, you can customize various design details. You can:
- edit your background (make it either full color, or image, or video)
- add new elements (images, galleries, buttons, fields, social network icons, menus, lists, and many other things that you usually see on websites these days)
- add applications from the Wix App Market (such as Shopify module, comment module, chat, newsletter registration module, etc.)
- upload your own files (images, audio, documents)
- add a module of your own Wix store, which will allow you to sell your goods online and receive payments.
When it comes to the site editor itself, the drag and drop function means you don’t need to know any code to set up your site - just drag and drop objects around the page, add, delete and align them to your liking.
